‘Proxy teachers at work in valley school’ was published on The Himalayan Times on October 29, 2010 about permanent teachers who hired others to work in their place at Ganesh Secondary Schools in Bhaktapur, and with publication of the news, those government teachers returned to their jobs at the school to teach. The Department of Education also warned the District Education Office and the office started monitoring the school the day after the news was published.
