Agrawal appointed consul of Guinea

KATHMANDU: Ashok Kumar Agrawal, managing director of Vishal Group, the reputed industrial and trading house of the country, has been appointed as consul of the Republic of Guinea for Nepal.

The government of the West African country recently appointed Agrawal as the consul for Nepal, as per a media release. On his appointment in this prestigious position, Agrawal said that he will endeavour to further expand the existing economic and people-to-people relations between the two friendly nations.

He further hoped to take initiation for the promotion of Nepali products in Guinea and also for facilitating Guinean tourists to visit Nepal. Vishal Group is one of Nepal’s old trading and industrial houses. The group has invested in, among others, production of construction materials, banking, insurance and trading.
