KATHMANDU: Power supply in the Birgunj corridor will be cut on Friday and Saturday as the ground cabling works of the Dhalkebar substation will be carried out on these two days.

Project Chief of the Dhalkebar Substation, Radhesharan Mahato has said they have to switch off the power imported from India through Muzaffarpur in the day time.

“Industries of the Birgunj corridor will be affected,” he said. “We will be able to supply power only during nights for two regular days from tomorrow.”
