CAN InfoTech slated to kick off on January 25

CAN InfoTech — a mega event of Nepal’s information and communication technology (ICT) sector — is scheduled to begin from January 25.

The 24th edition of the technological exhibition is being organised by CAN Federation at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall with an objective to promote domestic ICT industry and showcase latest technological developments taking place across the world.

While Subisu is the title sponsor for the six-day event, Motorola is the associate partner for CAN InfoTech, according to CAN Federation.

“CAN InfoTech has always been a flagship event in Nepal’s ICT industry and this time too we are committed to making the event friendly for IT enthusiasts. The primary aim of the event is to increase people’s access to information and technology,” said Binod Dhakal, president of CAN Federation.

As per officials of CAN Federation, the exhibition next year will have almost 230 stalls showcasing different ICT products and services. The event will basically display ICT products and services related to power solutions, software solutions, hardware sales and maintenance, mobile accessories, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), telecommunications, ICT colleges and IT institutes, payment solution, etcetera.

Similarly, CAN Federation is also preparing to host International ICT Conference as a sideline event at the CAN InfoTech, according to Dhakal.
