Dabur hands over greenhouse to PADT

KATHMANDU: Dabur Nepal under its corporate social responsibility has been actively supporting and promoting conservation activities in Nepal and the region.

To give continuity to such conservation efforts, A Sudhakar, head of Global Human Capital, Dabur Group has handed over a greenhouse to Executive Director of Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) Ramesh Kumar Upreti in a function last week in the holy garden of Pashupatinath.

The greenhouse will help propagate saplings of various species including rudraksham swami, kapur, harsingar, among others for plantation purposes, as per a press statement issued by the company. The greenhouse has a capacity to produce one to two lakh saplings of rare, indigenous and religiously important plant species. After the handover ceremony, dignitaries present there also planted saplings of rudraksha, chandan and other plants on the premises. Dabur will provide theĀ  technical knowledge and plantation techniques to operate the greenhouse.
