KATHMANDU: In its quest to go further in its support for women empowerment, Ford this year will support the International Women’s Day Fun Run being organised by Higher Ground on March 4 at the Jawalakhel football ground.

Every year Ford celebrates ‘Women’s Week’ to salute the women drivers and to also encourage more women to drive. This year too all walk-in women customers, test drivers and those who want to get their vehicles valuated, will get special gifts. All vehicle bookings done within this week in the name of women customers will get special gift hampers in addition to the regular discounts and offers.

With over 700 participants and 300 community volunteers expected for this year, the run aims to bring together the community to celebrate International Women’s Day with the hope of inspiring and empowering women and girls.

Although the race is limited to only women and girls, the company is making it inclusive for the men and boys as well who are welcome to cheer and volunteer on the day of the run.
