KATHMANDU: Hero MotoCorp has launched its new range of scooters — Maestro Edge and Pleasure — in Nepal.

Built on a completely new engine and chassis platform, the ‘Maestro Edge’ demonstrates the passion for technology and innovation at Hero.

Launched with the iconic tagline ‘Why should boys have all the fun’, the Pleasure scooter with its clearly defined positioning has captured the imagination of customers for 10 years.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the scooter, the Pleasure has also been introduced in the market with new style and aesthetic elements. The all-new Maestro Edge, offers optimum performance with a BS IV compliant 110.9cc air-cooled, four-stroke single cylinder OHC engine, producing a maximum power output of 8 BHP @7500 rpm and maximum torque of 8.7 Nm @5500 rpm.

The Maestro Edge comes in three colours — techno blue, candy blazing red and panther black. The ultra-stylish new Pleasure offers an optimum performance with a powerful BS-IV compliant 102cc engine. The air-cooled, four-stroke single cylinder OHC engine produces a maximum power output of 6.9 BHP (5.15 kW) @7000 rpm and maximum torqueof 8.1 Nm @5000 rpm.

The youthful new scooter comes with a host of attractive features, such as all time headlamp on feature to offer superior safety and mobile charging port, among others.

The new Pleasure comes with new body graphics and three new colour schemes — fiery red, matte grey, and matte grey and white.

The new Maestro Edge and new Pleasure have been priced at Rs 181,000 and Rs 165,500, respectively.
