HAN joins hands with CTEVT

Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) — the umbrella body of tourist standard hotels in Nepal — has joined hands with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) to develop a crash course for hotel employees in a bid to enhance hospitality services of the country.

CTEVT, in consultation with HAN and other stakeholders, will develop a crash course for hotel employees, according to a statement issued by HAN today.

In this regard, HAN and CTEVT have held initial discussions as well. Speaking in the discussion, Binayak Shah, general secretary of HAN, expressed belief that the joint initiative of HAN and CTEVT will be a milestone in enhancing services in hospitality sector through training programmes for hotel employees based on the crash course. He also stressed on collaborating with CTEVT in conducting training programmes in the future as well.
