KUSOM job fair

KATHMANDU: The eighth edition of the Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) job internship fair kicked off here from Tuesday.

“We’ve to build a strong coordination between universities and industry. Through the job internship fair, we are trying to bridge the gap that exists between industry and education sector,” said Roshee Lamichhane, coordinator of the job fair.

“The fair will provide an opportunity to industries to discover talent and students who have just graduated will also get a chance to be employed.”

There are 54 reputed corporate houses participating in the two-day fair.

According to Lamichhane, the job fair is only for students of KUSOM and this year 130 students are participating in the event.

The event is being organised every year since 2011 and last year there were 32 leading companies that participated in the fair.
