NCC’s social initiative

KATHMANDU: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) has handed over relief materials collected from its members to the government for distribution to flood and landslide victims across the country.

President of NCC, Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, handed over the materials to Home Minister Janardan Sharma in Singhadurbar, on Sunday.

NCC had formed a Disaster Management Cell coordinated by its Vice Chairman Rajendra Malla to collect medicines, food items, tents and other necessary items. It has contributed two trucks of rice, two hundred boxes of medicines and one truck of mattresses and tents.

NCC also said that it will further collect relief materials that will be handed over to government in near future.
