Nepal Life Insurance Company bags award

KATHMANDU: Nepal Life Insurance Company has bagged the ‘Financial Institution of the Year - Insurance Company’ award under Best Practices Award from global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan.

The award was handed over during the Growth and Innovation Leadership Summit 2016, held in Kathmandu. CEO of Nepal Life Vivek Jha received the award, according to a press note issued by NLIC. While receiving the award, Jha said that the company was awarded due to the efforts of all employees and the guidance of its board of directors and he also pledged to expand outreach of insurance service in remote parts of the country.

Nepal Life has the largest market share in the country and the company has collected insurance premium worth Rs 620 million and renewal premium worth Rs 2.09 billion in the first quarter of this fiscal, according to the statement.
