Kathmandu, September 25

Newly appointed Managing Director of Nepal Telecom (NT) Kamani Rajbhandari has said she will focus on expanding NT’s network to rural areas and make services more effective in her tenure.

Assuming office on Sunday, Rajbhandari expressed her commitment to provide enhanced services to NT consumers, expand diverse telecommunication services to rural areas, enhance data services and develop habit of completing programmes and projects within the designated time. She also opined that the organisational structure of NT has to be strong to make the services provided by the company effective.

Rajbhandari was appointed as Nepal Telecom’s MD last week. Prior to that she was serving as the chief technical officer of NT.
