NIC Asia Bank opens two new branches

KATHMANDU: Chairman of NIC Asia Bank Jagdish Prasad Agrawal formally inaugurated two recently opened branches of the bank in Urlabari and Puspalal Chowk of Morang district on Tuesday.

NIC Asia Bank is one of the largest private sector commercial banks in the country in terms of capital base, balance-sheet size, customer base, number of branches and ATM network, as per a media release.

With the addition of the new branches, the bank is providing services to its customers through 74 branches across the country and 69 ATM outlets. The bank has a strategy to reach every possible market to serve its customers and there are more branches coming in operation soon. In the first quarter of this fiscal year, the bank posted growth of 66 per cent in net profit compared to the same period of last fiscal.

Recently convened 19th AGM of the bank has approved 26 per cent bonus share and then after 15 per cent rights share for its shareholders.
