PACT holds 15th Implementation Support Mission

KATHMANDU: The Project for Agriculture Commercialisation and Trade (PACT) under the Ministry of Agricultural Development has begun its 15th Implementation Support Mission in Kathmandu on Sunday.

The project's financial supporter World Bank has sent a team comprising the Task Team Leader Patrick Verissimo and Agriculture Expert Karishma Wasti for the mission.

Likewise, PACT Director Govinda Prasad Sharma, officials and experts represented the MoAD project in the mission.

The six-day discussion would focus on programmes to be conducted in next six months, according to PACT.

Meanwhile, the World Bank delegation is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on officials of the National Planning Commission, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agricultural Development later this week.

The team shall stay here in next two weeks.

PACT is a World Bank-funded project run by the government since 2009. It is expected to conclude in 2018.
