Registration for KLT begins

Kathmandu, March 22

Online registration for Korean Language Test (KLT) under Employment Permit System (EPS) of South Korean government has begun from today.

The EPS Korea Section under the Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) has started online application system since last year for the KLT and aspiring Nepalis can submit their applications till March 31.

Those who desire to go to South Korea for jobs are required to first deposit an amount equivalent to $24 at any of Global IME Bank’s branches and acquire a slip number, according to DoFE.

Using the slip number along with email address, aspirant job seekers will have to complete the online form. However, only those Nepali migrant workers aged between 18 years to 39 years can submit their applications.

As per the schedule, the Korean government will hold the KLT on June 9 and 10, in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

The Korean government has said it will take almost 7,100 workers from Nepal to Korea in 2019.
