Kathmandu: A two-day conference on microfinance-banking solutions titled ‘Demonstration of Orbit-R’ kicked off in the capital on Monday.

Organised by Neptune Financial Software Pvt Ltd in association with Neptune India, the conference has brought together local and foreign stakeholders, including bankers, technology professionals and financial experts to discuss the state of microfinance and banking sector in the globe and ways to advance Nepal’s financial sector to the global scale.

Manoj Kulkarni, head of sales and marketing of the company, informed that the conference provides an opportunity for Nepal to approach foreign financial markets and transfer modern banking management technology.

Various Nepali and foreign financial and technology experts are presenting papers on various issues, including security management in the microfinance and banking sectors, business management, loan management, among others.
