KATHMANDU: WorldLink, Nepal’s largest internet service provider(ISP) company, has introduced Safenet — parental control solution for child safety.

“Settings and controls of Safenet can be done either from customer portal of WorldLink or WorldLink mobile app and is free for WorldLink customers,” as per a press statement.

Safenet  features include restricting social media during study hours for kids, blocking websites that could infect device or expose it to hacking, filtering advertisements in real time while browsing websites, completely restricting adult contents at all times, increasing productivity of employees during office hours by limiting access to social media and blacklisting or whitelisting particular websites or domain.
