KATHMANDU: Musician Aaavas and singer Meena Niraula are set to feature in Paleti Concert at Nepalaya's 'r' sala in Kalikasthan, on Friday, August 25.

In a statement today, Nepalaya said famous singer Meena Niraula, who hails from Manipur in India, will sing her hit numbers, in what would be her first Solo Paleti Concert.

"I came to Kathmandu for music, i was fortunate to have Paleti as my initial platform," said Meena. "With Paleti, I got an opportunity to perform with the legends of Nepali music. Paleti is my home and my music school as well," said Meena who had already performed with late Ambar Gurung and Shanti Thatal, reads the statement.

Singer Meena had already performed some of the hit numbers of lyricist Ratna Shamsher Thapa, Kiran Kharel, Ram Man Trishit and Dinesh Adhikari.

Composer Aaavas had been coordinating Paleti Concert since its inception and has selected 16 songs for Meena to perform at the upcoming event on Friday, it said in a statement.

The duo who recently recorded three dozen children songs are surely looking forward to enthralling the audience in coming Friday.
