Bobbi Kristina's funeral amid family feud

LOS ANGELES: The memorial service of singer Bobbi Kristina Brown was dented by the chaos caused by her aunt Leolah Brown’s ouster from the private funeral.

The funeral of 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina, the only child of Bobbi Brown and late singer Whitney Houston took place on August 1 at Saint James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Atlanta.

Bobby’s sister apparently screamed at Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and Bobbi Kristina’s co-legal guardian when she began to speak to the young singer’s loved ones, reported Entertainment Tonight.

Director Tyler Perry, a friend of the family, intervened during the situation.

Leolah was escorted out of the building to cool off, but was eventually allowed back inside in time to sing hymns with others in attendance.

“Whitney will haunt Pat Houston from the grave. She will haunt her. Pat, it’s not over. It has just begun. It has just begun,” Leolah told the reporters.

“I have information, I have evidence, I have knowledge of who Pat really is — she is not any relation whatsoever to Krissi — she’s not even a Houston. She’s just being the phony person that she is.”

The Brown and Houston families held their separate gatherings after the funeral. There has been an ongoing feud between the two families since Bobbi Kristina was put in a medically induced coma on January 31.
