The semi-final had finished goalless after extra time, with Spain dominating the match.
Both Spaniards and Portugal missed their first penalties.
It was Cesc Fabregas who scored the decisive penalty to give Spain victory over Portugal.
The chance that Protugal’s Bruno Alves's missed is deemed as the crucial one.Bruno Alves actually hit the bar.
What possibly must have annoyed Cristiano Ronaldo’s fans was that he did not take a penalty.
Unfortunate to Portugal was when Spain keeper Iker Casillas saved Joao Moutinho's opening penalty.
