KATHMANDU: For the 19 contestants of Lux Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2011, August 23 began on a beautiful note as it was dedicated to beauty regime especially hair and skin care. The contestants one after another shared how they take care of their skin and tresses.

And then three beauticians, Sama Karki, Sita Pathak and Binu Shrestha who are the judges for the Miss Beautiful Hair and Best Complexion competition started a thorough evaluation of the nature and quality of the contestants’ hair and skin.

The judges of the second preliminary judging round held at 8 Degrees Restaurant, Jhamsikhel were looking for good texture of hair and naturally glowing skin to find out the winner for Best Hair and Best Complexion respectively. And to do this they also interviewed the contestants. While each contestant mentioned their beauty regime, the experts put across their valuable tips on what all the he girls could do to have glowing complexion and healthy hair.

One of the judges Karki mentioned, “The young contestants are into hairstyling but they do not know how to

take care of their hair properly”. Meanwhile commenting on skincare all the three judges stated “their skin is at

its best right now because of their age”. “All they need is little guidance from experts”,

said Shrestha.

Now the contestants will face judges for the Talent Show on August 26 at Russian Culture Centre. The grand finale of Lux Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2011 will take place on August 30 at Army Officers’ Club.
