What an experience!!! (QATAR DAY)

Posted on:

Hi Folks!!!

Today I am going to share my experience of a lifetime where beautiful people make you feel like a king… Well it all started at Amman (Jordan International Airport). Tired after a long day's meetings & appointments, all I wanted to do was to reach Qatar and hit the sack. To my surprise I was the lucky one to be upgraded from an economy class ticket to a business class. The thought of sitting in the business class was enough to rejuvenate me and increase the adrenaline rush in my blood. Overwhelmed with a welcome drink of my choice to start with.

As the flight took off all I wanted to do was to experience business class to the fullest in the limited 2 hrs and 35 mins. I was waiting for the captains announcement to take the seat belts off…to start with an advanced entertainment system with one of them being a video on demand, it didn’t make much sense to go for it since I just had a little over 2 hrs…suddenly the flight duration seemed very less and I had forgotten that I had a wife waiting for me at home.

I overheard a few people talking in the aircraft that Qatar Airways also provides a chauffer to drop you off and pick you up from the airport. WOW!!! I was not even done browsing the videos which I could order and the dinner was served where I was offered a multi cuisine option…I have lost the count of flights I have taken but never travelled in an airline where I get a multi cuisine option. This was like a restaurant…not even restaurants have multi cuisine…Do they??

Even though I have started dieting these days I opted to go for Chinese food along with diet coke, I totally forgot about the diet regime and the long sessions at fitness first. As soon as I finished my dinner I wanted to keep myself awake and called for a coffee…trust me this was unbelievable that they also had options for coffee…now this was hard to believe and I asked the air hostess if was she joking me with…but the reply to my surprise was no!!!

Cappuccino was enough to keep me awake for a little over 2 hours for the most amazing experience of my life. Landed Qatar which was followed by the long queue in the emigration and the drive home, it didn’t make any difference as I was still thinking about the service offered to me and the good deed I had done that I got upgraded…all I wanted to do was to share my experience with my wife as soon as I reach home.

Today I pledge to fly only with Qatar Airways which gave me that 5 star experience which I will never forget for the rest of my life…

Cheers, Mohammed Amine.
