KATHMANDU: Ace Institute of Management is organising the second Ace Inter ‘A’ Level College Basketball Championships here from Thursday. In all 16 teams – 12 in boys and four in girls sections – are participating in the six-day tournament to be played at the National Sport Council covered hall. The boys’ section has been divided into three groups with the top two finishers after the league stage making it to the quarter-finals. Meanwhile, top two teams after a round-robin league will reach the girls’ final, informed the organisers on Wednesday.

BernHardt Basketball

KATHMANDU: BernHardt Higher Secondary School is organising the third BernHardt Inter-college Basketball Championships here from August 27. A total of 24 teams – 16 in boys and eight in girls’ sections are participating in the week long tournament, informed BernHardt Sports Coordinator Kiran Maharjan here on Wednesday. Prime College are the defending champions in the boys’ section, while the girls’ event has been included for the first time. All matches will be played at the School premises in Balkhu.
