JHAPA: Unified CPN-Maoist permanent committee member Netra Bikram Chand today alleged that party Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Vice-chairperson Baburam Bhattarai have not been following party rules.

Speaking at a press meet organised in Birtamod of Jhapa, Chand – close to Mohan Baidya – said that Dahal has not been transparent in the party regarding financial transaction and have been conducting suspicious activities again-st the party principles.

The Unified CPN-Maoist leader went on to say that they have been in opposition as the party leadership did not follow party principles. He suggested both Dahal and Bhattarai to work for the welfare of the common people.

According to Chand, chairperson Dahal himself did not implement the declared policy as a result of which the whole party has been defamed. He said anyone can join the hardline faction who likes the policies and programmes.

On timely statute, Chand warned that there could be yet another war if constitution was not promulgated by May 27. He told that Maoist-led government was necessary for the states restructuring and social transformation of the country.
