KATHMANDU: The Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) has appealed to all people to hit the streets peacefully to pile pressure on leaders for constitution writing.

Issuing a press statement today, Chairman of NEFIN Raj Kumar Lekhi has asked the leaders to draft the new constitution even by voting in the Constituent Assembly (CA).

In the statement, Lekhi has further stated that general people would not beg pardon to the top leaders of political parties and all the CA members if the CA was dissolved sans writing the new constitution adding that the lawmakers and leaders would be defamed in the history of the country.

The NEFIN is organising different programmes including agitations and sit-in in Baneshwor this afternoon.
