BANKE: Janatantrik Terai-Madhes Mukti Party, which abandoned its violent activities after holding talks with the government, has recently accused the police administration of plotting to derail the peace talks by arresting its party cadres.

Organizing a press meet here today, Chairman of the Party Bhagat Singh said that his party has not carried out any criminal activities with the beginning of the peace talks with the government.

But police arrested at least seven cadres on the charge of their involvement on a youth's abduction, said Singh.

Sukhi Loniya, Sushi Barma, Mahesh Pasi, Tirathram Dhobi, Chhodan Godiya, Rajesh Yadav and Kandhai Yadav were made public by police for kidnapping Bhupendra Singh of Hirminiya-8 of the district.

Singh claimed that the party's cadres are not involved in the case.

He also said that the party has informed the Minister for Peace and Reconstruction and Minister for Home Affairs regarding the case.
