'Upgrade hospital'

ILAM: Nepali Congress Ilam on Tuesday wrote to the Ministry of Health, demanding that it upgrade the Mechi District Hospital. In a memorandum sent through the district administration, the party has sought necessary facilities and manpower at the hospital. The hospital has only 25 beds.
2 killed in accidents
BIRATNAGAR: Two persons died in two separate accidents in Morang and Jhapa districts on Monday. Molabi Devi Mahato (40) of Bhadgaun Sinawari, Sunsari, died when the bicycle he was riding was hit by truck with an Indian number plate in Biratnagar. Two other injured in the same incident are undergoing treatment, DSP Uma Prasad Chaturbedi said. In another accident in Jhapa, Jay Baha-dur Magar (30) of Dangabari-6 died after he was hit by a commute.
