'Statute sans federalism unacceptable'

KATHMANDU: 'Civil Rights Defense Force', an alliance formed by eight different Madhes-centric political parties, has made it clear that constitution without federalism was not acceptable at any cost to them.
Organising a news conference here today, coordinator of the alliance Upendra Jha said that promulgating the constitution without federalism was equal to deprive Madhes of rights and push the southern plain into further imbroglio.
Likewise, coordinator of Nepal Sadbhavana Party (Anandidevi) said federalism was needed to establish the identity, pride and equality of Madhes and Madhesis
