JULMA: Different ponds-- Nadai Barah, Shanka, Pale and Jaugini based in remote Tamti VDC of Jumla district have not come into public notice due to lack of publicity and promotional activities though they could lure a large number of tourists.

Jumla based NGO, Karnali Sarokar Kendra, had prepared a documentary in 2066 BS with a view to publicising the ponds situated near the border of Jumla and Jajarkot districts.

However, no government offices and NGOs have shown any interest to recognise the ponds and water set areas as tourism destination.

It is said that there are number of possibilities to uplift the people's livelihood of Tamti if tourists were attracted at the area by conserving the ponds.
