Parliamentary fund to cooperatives

KALIKOT: Two lawmakers of Kalikot districts have handed over the parliamentary development fund to three different cooperatives to help promote locals' income through skill-oriented activities.
UCPN-Maoist lawmakers Khadag Bahadur BK and Dhirendra Upadhyay offered Rs 1.1 million to Janapragatishil Consumers' Cooperative of Phukot VDC, Uddhamshil Agriculture Cooperative of Manma and Janachetana Agriculture Cooperative of Badalkot.
Similarly, other amount will be provided to the conflict-hit children and field construction at district development committee.
The amount will be used to set up a rice mill at Raskot, a sawmill at Manma and a soap factory at Badalkot.

--Chicago-- June 16, 2012 A meeting of Nepali ex-patriates organized by Ram Krishna Bhopal concluded today with over 1600 participants from 22 western developed countries pledging aid of 12,000,000USd toward overthrow of 27 political parties in Nepal and establishment of a Constitution to rule the law of the developing country. Bhopal said: "This historic gathering marks the turning point of the people's struggle in Nepal. Working ex-patriate Nepalis of foreign countries now support the revolutionary will of the working class in Nepal and throw there full weight behind the effort of those who would throw off the shackles of the caste system and debauchery and decadence of the brahmin, chetri and newar!"
