1 killed‚ 19 injured in Dang road mishap

DANG: A person died and 19 others were injured when a night bus bound to Salyan from Kathmandu met with an accident at Hapur river along Ghorahi-Tulsipur road section in Dangon Wedneday.
Janak Pariyar of Tulsipur died when the bus (Na 3 Kha 6217) skidded off the road in the Hapur river, said police.
Three passengers, who were critically injured in the accident, were referred to Nepalgunj for treatment. Injured other passengers are undergoing treatment in Rapti Sub-regional Hospital, Ghorahi, according to District Police Office, Dang.
The bus driver has been absconding after the road mishap.
