KATHMANDU: A team of Metropolitan Police Range, Kalimati has arrested two persons with a tiger’s paw, a jackal’s hide along with 150 pieces of yarchagumba from Khadkagaun, KMC-14 on Wednesday morning.
The arrested have been identified as Man Bahadur Baduwal (21) of Bindyabasini-7, Dailekh and Bishal Rawat (21) of Bindyabasini-9, Dailekh, currently living in Khadkagaun, Kathmandu.
The duo had brought the contrabands along the way from Dailekh and were planning to hand over them to a racketeer in Kathmandu, Metropolitan Police Range, Kalimati in-charge DSP Tek Bahadur Tamang informed.
Arrested Baduwal and Rawat have been handed over to the Kathmandu District Forest Office, Hattiban for further action.
