BHAKTAPUR: As many as 225,000 foreign tourists visited various heritages in Bhaktapur municipality.

The heritages drew total 88,948 tourists from SAARC countries and 126,741 from other countries during 2068 BS (Mid-April, 2011 to Mid-April, 2012), said Chief of Bhaktapur Municipality Tourism Information Centre, Damodar Suwal.

The municipality generated total revenue of Rs. 159.31 million from the influx of foreign tourists in the year.
