3 accused jailed‚ arrest warrant to Parshuram

PANITYANKI: The district court Morang has issued an order to remand three of the accused involved in deadly attack on Abhisek Gir, who has been serving jail term in a murder case, in the premises of the court and issue arrest warrant against other absconding convicts of the incident within seven days.
Giri, who has been facing a criminal lawsuit on the charge of murder over a tender, was deadly attacked on June 11 while he was taken to district court in course of the case filed against him.
A single bench of chief judge of the district court, Radha Krishna Uprety on Thursday issued the order to arrest regional in-charge of youth Association Nepal, Morang, Mukesh Budhathoki including Devananda Yadav and Manoj Singh Rai on the charge of their involvement in the attack.
An arrest warrant has been issued against Parshuram Basnet including other 10 convicts absconding after the incident, informed the court administration.
