3 die in Far-West mishaps

DHANGADI: In two different incidents of road mishaps which banged Kanchanpur and Doti on Tuesday morning, 3 people have lost their lives.
Two people were killed and 12 were injured when a bus (Na 4 Kha 650) heading to Nepalgunj from Mahendranagar skidded off the road at Bhansi of Kanchanpur.
The deceased have been identified as Sudharsan Bhatt, 28, of Gaunji, Kanchanpur; and the co-driver, whose name and address is still unknown.
Two who were seriously injured have been taken to Indian towns whereas other 10 injured are undergoing treatment at Mahakali Zonal Hospital.
Meanwhile, a passenger bus (Na 4 Kha 5470) heading to Sanfebagar of Aacham from Dhangadi hit a local pedestrian Durga Bhandari, 35, at Dipyal Silgadi of Doti, who succumbed to injuries on the spot.
