KATHMANDU: Armed Police Force IGP Koshraj Onta has conferred Krishna Kumar Tamang with the insignia of Additional General of Police amidst a special function held at the Armed Police Force Headquarters in Halchowk on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion IGP Onta said Tamang has been elevated to the post of AIG based on his qualification, professionalism and dedication to the organisation and told Tamang to utilise his skills, qualification and experiences while discharing duties and responsibilies.
Tamang had been elevated to the post of IGP by the Cabinet’s decision on last Friday.
Senior APF officers including AIGs Thakur Mohan Shrestha, Rishavdev Bhattarai and Jeevan Kumar Thapa were present on the occasion.
