PATHALAIYA: ANFA Referee Training Programme, organised by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), began here today.

In all, 28 footballers from nine districts — Bara, Parsa, Makawanpur, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Sindhuli, Mahottari, Dhanusha and Chitwan — are participating in the Course. Ujjwal Tiwari, Bijay Ghale, Sanjan Sharma, Ramesh Mahatara, Sunil Shrestha, Kamal Adhikari, and Anil Singh are participating in the course conducted by Referee Instructor Surendra Shikhrakar, FIFA Referee Sudish Pandey and former FIFA Assistant Referee Gajendra Man Singh. Ram Kalewar Thakur, Siddha Bahadur Magar, Dadhir Pyakurel, Bijay Pathak, Kumar Acharya, Amir Lama, Manoj Poudel, Roman Kumar Ram, Dil Mani Chaudhary, Rajesh Pun, Narayan Shusling, Tanka Bahadur Pulami, Hukum Bahadur Burja, Arjun Prasad Gupta, Ram Janam, Rohit Mainali, Ashok Khan, Mithun Lama, Ranjit Lama, Sanjay Shrestha and Sanu Maiya Magar are the other participants of the course.

The trio will teach 17 FIFA Laws in the first phase. Nepal’s football governing body has announced providing further training courses for the best among the participants.
