ANNFSU clamps educational strike in valley

KATHMANDU: The All Nepal National Free Students' Union (ANNFSU), student wing of the CPN-UML, has called an educational strike in the valley today to protest police manhandling in a rally organised by the organisation on Sunday. Classes at most of the educational institutions were disrupted due to the strike.
Cadres of the ANNFSU had demonstrated on Sunday saying that two cadres of the organisation were not released as per the earlier agreement made with the administration. The agreement was made to release the two cadres arrested by the police in a clash between the Nepal Students' Union (NSU) and ANNFSU that took place at Pashupati Multiple Campus, Chabahil, few weeks ago.
