KABUL: The Afghan government said on Monday that all fighting with Taliban insurgents in Kabul had ended after a night of heavy clashes across the capital, although Afghan media reports said fighting still raged around the parliament.
"Fighting in all Kabul locations is over right now and there is no more fight. All details will be announced in a press conference today," Interior Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said.
