All efforts shall be made to save Bam

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that every possible effort shall be made to save the life of Amar Bam, who has been facing a death penalty in Dubai, U.A.E.
Accepting a memorandum in this regard from CA members and human rights activists from the Far-Western region at New Baneshwor on Wednesday, the Prime Minister said diplomatic measures shall be taken to save Bam from death penalty, and also to bring him back home, according to Maoist central member Khaga Raj Bhatta.
A resident of Dari VDC in Darchula VDC of the Far-Western region, Bam had reached Dubai in course of foreign employment ten years ago.
The Dubai court has reportedly announced a death penalty against Bam on the charge of murdering a local resident
