The umbrella bodies of private schools decided to boycott the post of superintendents

DHANGADHI: The three main umbrella organisations of private schools- PABSON, N-PABSON and NISTU-have protested the act of appointing superintendents in SLC exam centres in Kailali district ignoring the spirit of proportional system.

A meeting of office bearers of the organisations held here on Friday decided to boycott the post of superintendents and support from outside to hold SLC exam in a dignified and disciplined way.

A press statement issued after the meeting condemned "the neglect" at the hands of the District Education Office, Kailali, despite a provision makes proportional participation mandatory to hold SLC exam.

When asked, District Education Officer Hem Raj Pujara said the protest demanding appointment of the number of superintendents the organisations have sought is inappropriate and stressed for support from all sides to hold SLC exam.

Forty-three exam centers have been set up in Kailali to conduct SLC exam that is starting from March 24.
