KATHMANDU: Two badminton players have left for Dongwang in China on Tuesday to take part in the Asian Badminton Training.

According to the National Sports Council (NSC), Dipesh Dhami and Shikchha Shrestha are the players. The training is starting from today and ends on July 1.

After the training, the players will go to Jimcheon City in South Korea from China to take part in the Asian U-19 Junior Badminton Championship to be held from July 2 to July 7.

Both the players will compete in singles and mix doubles. They are top players of the junior age group.

Member Secretary of the NSC, Yubraj Lama, Chairman Ramesh Kumar Shrestha and General Secretary Ramji Bahadur Shrestha of Nepal Badminton Association and other officials bade farewell to the players.
