The faction has accused the party establishment of trying to push the party to split.

NAWALPARASI: The UCPN-Maoist faction led by Vice-chairman Mohan Baidhya, has announced that it would boycott the training programme organsed by the party establishment to be held on October 24 in the district.


Accusing the party establishment of trying to misuse the party’s name, the Baidhya camp directed all its cadres not to attend the training, according to the sources. However, the party establishment has been claiming that the programme was organsied as per the decision taken by Abadh State committee of the party.


Drodababu Shivakoti, Sub-Incharge of the faction commented that the training was against the party decision citing the party had already decided not to organised any programmes close to any faction of the party. The faction has accused the party establishment of trying to push the party to split.


As per the numbers of the supporters, the Baidhya faction stands first in the district having 25 district committee members in its hand, while Bhattarai and party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachada’ have got the support from 14 and 8 committee members respectively.
