NEPALGUNJ: Vice-chairperson of the CPN-UML, Bidhya Bhandari has said that Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai could lead the national unity government by forging consensus among the major political parties.
Speaking at a news conference organised by Press Chautari Nepal in Banke, Bhandari said the national consensus government was a must to conclude the peace and constitution writing processes.
She also said that the commoners' life has been badly affected due the government's working-style, adding that the government that fails to address the public's agendas should resign on the moral ground.
She further said the politicians spreading rumors of 'civil war and political crisis' are antagonists of politics. She was of the opinion that the political parties are left with no alternative to forging consensus by realising the bitter reality of the hour.
