KATHMANDU: Vice Chairperson of the CPN-UML, Biddya Bhandari has expressed concerns over the recent expansion of the Council of Ministers and the government decision to withdraw a case of murder against UCPN-Maoist lawmaker Balkrishna Dhungel.
Opening the Madan Bhandari Foundation and Madan Bhandari Sports Academy amidst a programme in the Capital on Wednesday, leader Bhandari said the recent activities of the government have proved that the prime minister's past commitments to austerity measures and establishment of the rule of law were 'false'.
The UML leader further said that there was no alternative to the government of the national consensus for concluding the peace process and constitution drafting.
