BHAKTAPUR: Spokesperson of the CPN (Maoist) Pampha Bhusal refuted the possibility of forming a government under the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) leadership on the grounds of the five-point agreement and other past agreements.
Speaking at a programme organised by Rafat Club here today, she said the new government under the leadership of the political parties that proved a failure in the past is not possible.
Spokesperson of the CPN-Maoist, Bhusal stressed on the need of a roundtable dialogue to settle the present political transition saying a consensus government should be formed of nationalists, leftists and republican forces.
"The CPN-Maoist has already led the proletariat and that is why the Maoist itself should lead the unity government formed through roundtable talks", said Spokesperson Bhusal.
She criticised Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai for continuing in power by running the nation through ordinances with India's support, and claimed that the Constitution and the nation as a whole were pushed towards uncertainty due to Unified CPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Prime Minister Dr. Bhattarai.
The incumbent government dissolved the Constituent Assembly that was so close to concluding the constitution writing process and raising hopes of fresh Constituent Assembly elections which are impossible.
