KATHMANDU: A meeting of the top-notch leaders of the four parties – Unified CPN Maoist, Nepali Congress, CPN UML and UDMF – held at the Constituent Assembly hall in New Baneshwor on Wednesday evening decided to settle the thorny issues related to constitution drafting including the formation of the national unity governed in a package.
“A meeting of the top leaders of the four parties will settle the two issues – federalism and forms of governance – and decide to form a national unity government tomorrow, NC leader Krishna Prasad Sitoula said after the meeting this evening.
The parties amended the CA regulations yesterday which allow them to send unsettled issues cropped up due to lack of simple majority vote in the House to the Constitutional Committee for consensus.
