Biker robs microbus driver after minor accident

KATHMANDU: An unidentified motorcyclist robbed a driver of a microbus of valuables worth Rs 70,000 at Koteshwor following a minor accident on Monday evening.
According to police, Birbal Tamang’s microbus had hit a motorcycle with registration number Ba 47 Pa 2681 near Chhapro at around 7:30 pm. The bike had sustained minor damages in the incident.
Following the incident, the motorcyclist overpowered the bus driver and robbed him of Rs 8000 in cash, gold chain, mobile phone, and managed to escape.
Police said they have launched a manhunt to nab the absconding biker.
