KATHMANDU: A Cabinet meeting on Thursday decided to declare the four killed in Jankapur blast martyrs. Bimalsharan Das, Jhagaru Das, Ranju Jha and Suresh Upadhyay were killed when a bomb went off in Janakpur on Monday. The government also decided to provide Rs 10 lakh to the families the deceased. In yet another decision, the Cabinet on Monday promoted Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police Krishna Kumar Tamang to the post of Additional Inspector General. The government on Monday also decided to run India-funded Trauma Centre as a central health centre. The Cabinet also decided to levy Rs 2,300 customs duty on per 10 gram of gold. The government also extended the term of the probe committee formed to investigate into the death of Chedi Yadav of Laxminiya VDC in Siraha district by one month.
