Bomb at VDC office

ILAM: A bomb was found at the gate of Danabari VDC office in Ilam on Saturday. Police said some VDC employees saw the bomb when they came to switch off the lights. Leaflets with Samyukta Jatiya Muktimorcha district committee written on them were recovered from the VDC office gate.

Kathmandu: Defence Minister Bidhya Bhandari on Saturday said development of information and communication technology is essential for all-round development of the country. Inaugurating a bilingual website, nepalkorea.com, she said the state should regulate the online media thriving in the country. A Dynamic Dream project, the portal launched in Nepali and Korean languages aims to provide information to Korean visitors. Secretary at the Ministry of Information and Communication, Sushil Ghimire, said the online media will help strengthen the ties between Nepal and Korea at an interpersonal level and introduce Nepal in the international arena.
